*The cheapest fixed price energy tariff claim is based on a national average figure for a home using the Ofgem average household consumption of 13,500 kWh of gas and 3,200 kWh of electricity per year and paying by monthly direct debit. The price of the tariff differed by location and averaged £825 over the 14 energy regions of the UK.
